Association for Science and Technology Exchange
Recently (Apr. 23), Vice President of the Association, Tomaz Amon, held a working meeting with the delegation from the China Economic Liaison Center (CECC) at the Slovenia-China Friendship Association. The two sides engaged in open and constructive dialogue on strengthening people-to-people ties and promoting practical cooperation in the business sector between China and Slovenia.
Tomaz Amon emphasized that the vitality of China-Slovenia people-to-people friendship stems from the mutual aspiration for cultural exchange and the long-term commitment to fostering mutual understanding. He noted that the CECC and the Association share a high degree of alignment and proposed building a more resilient network for civil dialogue between the two sides.
Regarding business cooperation, he suggested creating informal platforms to encourage Chinese and Slovenian entrepreneurs to engage in open discussions on global topics such as sustainable development and social responsibility. Through the exchange of ideas, new opportunities for collaboration may naturally emerge.
