Global Youth Innovators Gather in Beijing for the Global Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2025

The Global Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (GYIEC) successfully concluded in Beijing, bringing together more than 300 high-quality innovation projects from over 20 countries. The award ceremony was held as part of the 9th China Trade in Services Standardization Forum, highlighting the growing role of young innovators in addressing global challenges.

With a strong focus on artificial intelligence, digital services and the green economy, GYIEC 2025 showcased youth-led solutions responding to real-world needs, from digital transformation to low-carbon development. The competition reflected the increasing alignment between youth entrepreneurship and global priorities such as sustainable growth and technological innovation.

The event gathered representatives from international organizations, industry bodies and academic institutions across Europe and China, underscoring the importance of cross-border collaboration in nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs. Experts involved in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework also participated, emphasizing innovation as a key driver of inclusive and sustainable development.

During the ceremony, outstanding projects were recognized for their innovation potential and practical impact. In parallel, a Youth Entrepreneurs’ Initiative for Sustainable Development was unveiled, calling on young innovators worldwide to contribute to responsible business practices and long-term global value creation.

As one of the organizing institutions, the Central and Eastern Europe—China Science and Technology Exchange Association reaffirmed its commitment to supporting international cooperation by connecting innovation, industry and investment resources across regions. The association aims to help promising projects move beyond the competition stage and achieve real-world application.

The 2025 edition of the Global Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition not only celebrated the creativity and ambition of young entrepreneurs, but also strengthened a global innovation network committed to shaping a more sustainable and connected future.
