The 9th China (Jinan) New Growth Drivers Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Nanjing Division Officially Kicks Off!

The 9th China (Jinan) New Growth Drivers Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been officially launched, and the Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation will host the preliminary competition of the Nanjing Division. We are now openly recruiting projects from high-level talent teams and innovation and entrepreneurship elites at home and abroad. We sincerely invite talents from all over the world to gather in Nanjing with cutting-edge industrial projects and high-quality scientific and technological achievements, and jointly embark on a new journey of innovation and entrepreneurship!

Competition Details

1. Organizing Institutions

The CPC Jinan Municipal Committee and Jinan Municipal People’s Government

2. Schedule

The competition is planned to be held from May to October 2026, divided into five stages: registration and collection (May to mid-to-late June), preliminary review (early July), preliminary competition (mid-July to mid-August), semi-final (mid-September) and final (late October).

3. Competition Fields

Focusing on the national cutting-edge science and technology fields and Jinan’s key industrial directions, five competition fields are set up:

Electronic Information and High-end Software (including Artificial Intelligence)

High-end Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing

Modern Medicine and Bio-manufacturing

Advanced Materials and New Energy Equipment

Modern Agriculture & Green and Environmental Protection

4. Participation Conditions

(1) Participants are high-level talents with innovative achievements and innovation and entrepreneurship plans, whose technical achievements are internationally and domestically leading and in line with Jinan’s industrial development direction.

(2) Participants should have certain entrepreneurial experience, and possess strong innovation and entrepreneurship spirit as well as capabilities in scientific and technological achievement transformation, market development, operation management and resource integration.

5. Award Settings

(1) Preliminary competition awards and bonuses. 15 winning places are set in the preliminary competition, with a bonus of RMB 10,000 per winner.

(2) Final awards and bonuses.

First Prize: 20 winners, RMB 30,000 per winner.

Second Prize: 30 winners, RMB 20,000 per winner.

Third Prize: 50 winners, RMB 10,000 per winner.

6. Participation Method

The competition adopts a combination of online and offline methods. The official competition website (www.jn-rencai.com) and the online application platform (competition.jn-rencai.com) have been opened to serve the whole process of project collection, registration, preliminary selection and review, preliminary competition, semi-final and final.
